A paradise for nature lovers, the Broads are alive with a host of bird life including spoonbills, herons, geese, swans and ducks. Daily river trips available to tour the waterways. The area is criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. City of Norwich, 9 miles, for excellent shopping, fine restaurants, cafes, pubs, cathedral and castle museum. Coastline, 11 miles, for Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches and dunes. Sprowston Hall, 7 miles, for golf course. Felbrigg and Blickling Halls (NT) and gardens within easy reach for day trips. Great Yarmouth, 20 miles, traditional seaside resort with funfair, model village, leisure centre, host to many sporting activities and indoor swimming pool.
