There are some lovely walks to be enjoyed in the area. The pretty market towns of Buxton, 4 miles, and Bakewell, 12 miles, and the village of Hartington, 5 miles, are an easy drive from the properties. Climbing at the Roaches and Froggatt, the caves at Castleton, Chatsworth House and Alton Towers theme park are all under a 30-minute drive away.
Three of the properties (refs 10847, 10848 and 10849) are single-storey and suited to partially disabled guests. Harebell Hill (ref 10848) has its own garden with chairs and has 4 steps to the front door, with Poppies Court (ref 10847) having two steps. Their creative conversions have given the properties individual charm, with old stone arches, high vaulted ceilings and original beams.
