Tastefully converted, this holiday property offers spacious and bright accommodation in a great location close to the Peak District National Park. It is 4 miles from the old market town of Chesterfield, famous for its crooked spire and offering a large range of facilities; shops, restaurants, cafés, cinema, bowling, swimming and gyms. Walton Golf Club (private – 2 miles) accepts visitors. It provides a great holiday base for discovering the many attractions and activities available in the Peak District.

Within 10 miles are: Chatsworth House, Gardens, children’s farm with adventure playground, the town of Bakewell famous for its puddings and livestock market, Bolsover Castle, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Renishaw’s Italianate gardens, Matlock Bath with cable car to the heights of Abraham, Darley Dale steam railway and the Crich tramway museum. A little further, picturesque villages include Ashford-in-the-Water, Eyam plague village, Winster and Castleton with its caverns and castle and Buxton spa town.
