Activities in abundance are available in the forest and within the Wye Valley. Idyllic walks, cycling/mountain biking with a marked route in the forest, adventure parks such as Puzzlewood and Go Ape, steam railway and caving at Clearwell Caves are all within easy reach. Visit Symonds Yat and Yat Rock for wonderful scenery and rock climbing, also famous for its nesting peregrine falcons. Canoeing and fishing are available along the River Wye. There are many castles to visit, and the cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester are within easy driving distance. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
