Situated in the village of Longdon, on the Worcestershire Gloucestershire border, this delightful property is ideal for couples looking for a relaxing break in the peace and quiet of the countryside or as a touring base from which to explore the local area. The property has a private entrance and small terraced garden which looks out across the open fields and the sunsetting on the Malvern Hills. You enter directly into the open plan accommodation which is well equipped and decorated to a high standard with an electric woodburning stove for cosy nights in. The bedroom is very light and airy and has a king size bed, White Company Egyptian cotton linens and blackout blinds to enable you to have a comfortable and restful stay.

The views across the open fields add to the tranquility of your break. The village pub is a few minutes’ walk away.
The property is situated within easy reach of many beautiful places to explore. The surrounding area is Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Less than 4 miles from medieval Tewkesbury with its beautiful Abbey and plentiful tea rooms and 3 miles from Upton upon Severn, a quaint riverside town with plenty of riverside eateries and the marina where you can hire a boat or take a boat trip in the summer season. Upton is renowned for its regular music festivals- Jazz, Blues and the Sunshine Festival. Two Michelin starred restaurants are close by.
The cottage is also well placed for visiting the beautiful spa town of Malvern with its rolling hills- a must for cyclists and walkers.

The Malvern Showground is 15 minutes away and is host to many shows, including the famous RHS Spring and Autumn shows and antique fairs. The Regency town of Cheltenham is also easily accessible, the Centre of The Cotswolds, renowned for its Racing calendar and Literature, Music and Science Festivals.
There are popular cycle routes and miles of walks/rambles throughout the area including National Trust Croome, Bredon Hill plus routes along the River Severn and Avon. There are many beauty spots for picnics or pub lunches. Horse riding, golf and fishing are all available close by.
