Located in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside, around 5 miles from Berwick and not far from the River Tweed and the villages of Norham and Horncliffe, sits a terrace of traditional cottages at Velvet Hall Station. Hobbit House enjoys the position at the end of the terrace accessed on via a gravel driveway located on a hill and has private parking and an enclosed rear garden which is ideal for enjoying some quality time with loved ones, or a glass of your favourite tipple on a nice evening.
This comfortable and charming one bedroom cottage will likely be suited to couples with the double bedroom being located upstairs.

The bathroom has a bath suite with over bath shower, however a traditional quirk to be noted here is the slightly lower ceiling typical for this type of property. The living space on the ground floor boasts a living room with space for dining and the ideal space to relax in after a day exploring the walks around Norham Castle, the banks along the River Tweed or walking the walls or beaches in nearby historic Berwick-upon-Tweed. Meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen with everything you may need to rustle up a homely meal.

Parking is located to the side of the property and there is space for two cars.
Guests will enjoy trips to nearby Berwick for walks round the historical walls, the bars and restaurants, cafés and pubs. The surrounding villages have local shops too providing the best in local produce. Why not take a day trip to Edinburgh or Newcastle? Both are around an hour by car or less by train ride from Berwick. Beach 5 miles
