This detached bungalow benefits from spacious ground floor accommodation. Comfortably furnished, the living room with electric fire set in an attractive fireplace and reclining leather sofa and chairs and smart TV. A separate open plan kitchen / dining room is well equipped with all your modern appliances. The kitchen leads out into a fully enclosed lawned garden with small patio area set with table and chairs. There are three bedrooms, two with double beds, one benefitting from an En-suite shower room and one with single bed with TV.
There is a family bathroom with bath and electric shower over. Nearby, an abundance of places to explore, with established public footpaths, cycle paths within easy access.
For those looking to leave the car behind, a footpath leads from the garden into the nearby village with village store, country pub and spa hotel and wedding venue. Within a 2. 5 mile of a retail park with a variety of supermarkets, retail stores, pub/ restaurant, and take-a-ways.
The nearby market town of Bishop Auckland has independent shops, tea rooms and restaurants, hosting the fabulous and hugely popular Kynren Historic spectacle, for which early booking is essential. Visit Bishop’s Palace and Park, with its ancient Deer House and Walled Gardens, or the Spanish Art Gallery (opening spring 2021) in the attractive marketplace. The pretty village of Staindrop is just 5 miles away, and offers tea shops, cafés, and a local family butcher.
