Tilly Cottage is a charming, terraced former railway cottage lying in the unspoilt hamlet of Greenhead, which nestles in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside.

Living/dining room: With multi-fuel burner, 32" Freeview TV and DVD player.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Welcome pack.

Tilly Cottage is beautifully furnished and is extremely cosy and comfortable from the multi-fuel burner in the living/dining room and the modern bathroom, to the sumptuous beds. You might possibly not want to leave. Greenhead has a tea room offering light meals, while the local hotel offers hearty homemade meals and a welcome atmosphere where you can enjoy a glass of wine after a day walking, cycling or just taking a leisurely stroll around the local countryside and areas of historical interest. Greenhead nestles in the North Pennines and lies within the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall and within a stone’s throw of the Northumberland National Park, yet close to the Cumbrian border. This former railway cottage is in an ideal location for exploring both Northumberland and Cumbria. The Pennine Way, the UK’s first National Trail, passes through Greenhead and within a 5-minute walk of the village. Hadrian’s Wall marches through Walltown Craggs, a much loved beauty spot. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
