Situated about 1/2 mile from the attractive village of Wark, this pair of comfortable holiday cottages retain the character and fabric of the original 19th century stabling facilities and are situated in the grounds of the owner’s Georgian ‘Old Rectory’. The cottages share a small enclosed garden which is peacefully set surrounded by beautiful countryside on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Excellent location for walking, with the Pennine Way passing within a little over a mile. Convenient for touring the historic market towns of Hexham and Corbridge, 11 miles. Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Kielder Water, Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle and the coast. Scotland and the Lake District within easy reach. Shops and pubs 1/2 mile.
