The kitchen boasts a large dining table perfect for sitting round enjoying a meal with family and friends and from the kitchen, French doors open up onto the delightful courtyard, the perfect spot for dining alfresco when the weather is fine.
The owner’s attention to detail continues upstairs with 3 good sized bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in waterfall shower and a stunning roll-top bath. Woodburn Cottage is a real gem!
Corbridge itself is a picturesque village which sits on the banks of the River Tyne and is renowned for its charming shops, quaint tea rooms and several restaurants and pubs. Corbridge is only a few miles from Hadrian’s Wall where walkers and cyclists can explore the many historic paths and roads that were once walked by the Romans.
The countryside around Corbridge is a great area for touring.
Enjoy a day out at Beamish, the world famous open air Museum telling the story of life in the north east of England during the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s. It truly is an amazing experience.
The beautiful cities of Durham and Newcastle are both within easy access, and you will find the Newcastle Metro Centre, a must for the shopaholic.
