The property is close to the harbour and shops of the friendly port of Amble. The town has a good selection of eateries, with an award-winning ice cream shop on the harbour, where boat trips to Coquet Island can be taken. You are just a short drive from Warkworth, with its hillside castle, river walks and pubs, with Alnmouth only a little further, with its picture postcard estuary. Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens, is 9 miles. Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster and Beadnell are approximately 30 minutes away. Newcastle is 50 minutes. An ideal base for exploring this unspoilt county, peppered with friendly villages and castles. Beach 200 yards. Shop 20 yards, pub 100 yards, restaurant 70 yards.
