Only a few minutes walk from Warkworth Castle and the pretty village centre, this small, comfortable, detached holiday studio is an ideal base for exploring this friendly county. It is set within the friendly owners’ grounds yet offers privacy. With a ground floor kitchen and first floor lounge and bedroom area, this quirky studio is a super base for couples or two friends.

Warkworth has some charming little pubs and tea rooms with walks along the river where it is not unusual to see some rare birds.

Nearby, the town of Amble which is reputedly ’the friendliest port’ has a working harbour, marina, Sunday market, fish and chip shops and plenty of varied amenities. Alnwick, with its famous castle featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, is only a few miles with cobbled streets and famous water gardens with a spectacular grand cascade, and the worlds largest tree house restaurant should not be missed.

Warkworth is on the main Heritage coastal route which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and from here you can enjoy some glorious unspoilt beaches and rugged coastline.

The Studio is a handy base for your holiday and is ideal for reaching inland to the National Park, west to visit Hadrian’s Wall or north towards the border
