The holiday home dates back from the 18th century and was part of a working community within Ambleside which had various types of industry. A good quality bed dressed in crisp cotton sheets guarantees a restful night’s sleep after a day on the fells or sightseeing. You can come back and relax and enjoy that well deserved break. A gentle stroll will bring you to Waterhead Pier where you will find the famous Windermere Lake Steamers offering the chance to cruise across to Bowness or Lakeside whilst taking in some more of the area’s stunning scenery.
