Enjoy a peaceful countryside escape at Oak Nook or Willow Nook, two welcoming glamping pods situated at Pointer Farm Campsite, just outside the Lancashire village of Stalmine.
Set on a working farm, these cosy pods offer the perfect balance of comfort, nature and family adventure. Each pod sleeps up to six guests, with a comfortable king-size bed in the bedroom. Within the open-plan living space, there are bunk beds suitable for children no taller than 4ft 6in, along with a double pull-out sofa bed. Dogs are welcome too.
The compact yet well-equipped kitchen area includes a fridge, oven, grill and two-ring hob, making it ideal for preparing simple meals during your stay.

Each pod also benefits from its own en-suite shower room, while guests are also welcome to use the campsite’s shared shower facilities too.
Pointer Farm is a small, peaceful and family-friendly campsite with pitches for tents and touring caravans. Children have plenty of space to play. The site offers a genuine farm escape, where guests can reconnect with nature, enjoy the surrounding countryside and experience warm rural hospitality.
A local pub is around a 15-minute walk away, while Knott End Beach can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by car.

Stalmine is ideally placed for exploring the Fylde Coast, with Poulton-le-Fylde, Cleveleys and Fleetwood all within easy reach. Blackpool, home to its famous Tower, zoo, Pleasure Beach, SEA LIFE Centre and Madame Tussauds, is around a 20–30-minute drive away.
For countryside adventures, discover the beautiful Forest of Bowland and Ribble Valley, both known for their scenic walking routes, picturesque villages and welcoming country pubs. Lancaster is approximately 13 miles away, while the southern Lake District and Yorkshire Dales can be reached in around an hour.
