Formerly a fortified farmhouse (Bastle house), it was built to withstand the attacks along the Anglo-Scottish border between warring clans known as Reivers’, hence the name Reivers’ Retreat.

This barn conversion, designed internally by the owners, is a beautiful space to relax and enjoy with family or friends. The open plan living room/kitchen is spacious and modern, with many of the original beams still evident.
