Pubs, restaurants, Theatre by the Lake and Keswick’s quaint historic Alhambra Cinema are all on the doorstep. The centrally heated accommodation comprises a small but well equipped kitchen with dining table on the ground floor, along with the bathroom with a traditional roll top cast iron bath with shower over. On the first floor there is the galleried lounge with TV, DVD, real flame gas wood burner, original waxed floor and bay window. The main bedroom is off the lounge with an antique French double bed, exposed timbers, generous wardrobe space and a digital radio.
Two additional single beds are accommodated on the gallery area off the lounge accessed by very steep paddle steps (making it unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility and young children) with rooftop views to Catbells and Causey Pike. The cottage enjoys views of the fells from the galleried bedroom and first floor lounge, and provides a delightful cosy base from which to enjoy your holiday. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards
