The centrally heated accommodation comprises:
Open plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: With gas log-effect fire, TV, Bluray/DVD player and CD/cassette/radio.
Kitchen area: With fitted units, electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Rear Porch: With washing machine and coat hanging area.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Cottage style double bed room with decorative fireplace.
Bathroom: With walk in shower, free standing bath, hand basin and WC.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: Steep and narrow stairs lead to this attic bedroom with twin beds and lovely views of Skiddaw through the velux window.
Den: Small room with two chairs, desk, ipod/iplayer/mp3 docking station, books, games and maps.

All gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Booster seat and cot available (please bring own bedding). Good Wi-fi on all floors.

Shared garden with small sitting area to rear. On road parking. No smoking.
Due to the steep stairs and the ballustrade measurements, care is required in the case of younger children and adults with mobility difficulties.

Laid out over three floors, this cosy little cottage provides comfortable accommodation just three minutes from Keswick’s shops, pubs and cafes. It has a useful small rear porch area, and the kitchen was refurbished 2017, as well as new carpets added to the open plan living space in 2019. The Retreat is ideal for couples or families seeking a central but quiet location, just a short walk to the lake, park and leisure centre.
