The enclosed garden at the rear is a great place for children to play as well as somewhere to sit out and relax in the afternoon sun and enjoy the spectacular views across the valley, to the imposing sight of Blencathra. There is storageavailable for up to four bikes and there are plenty of cycle routes both on and off road within easy reach.

For keen walkers, the location is perfect, the property is located just 4 miles from Thirlmere reservoir which is at the base of England’s third highest mountain, Helvellyn, so you won’t have to go far to find your next big adventure.
This beautiful cottage has two bedrooms and offers a great level of comfort and will certainly appeal to couples and families. Whilst comfortably sleeping four, this property also has a sofa bed in the living area which can convert into a third double bed (bedding available on request) and would therefore suit larger families of five and six.

For golfers, you will find Keswick Golf Club just 1½ miles away or head towards Keswick and you will reach Castlerigg Stone Circle which is an interesting short walk suitable for all ages. The popular market town of Keswick with its abundance of bars, shopping experiences, restaurants and tourist attractions including The Derwent Pencil Museum, The Theatre by the Lake and Puzzling Place, which has a selection of mind boggling optical illusions, is just 5 miles away.
