Visit the beautiful grounds at NT Bateman’s and see where Rudyard Kipling wrote his fascinating stories. Spend a day at Bewl Water, trout fishing ( licence required), cycling or simply enjoying the boats. The hands on Science Centre at Herstmonceux, the Blue Reef Aquarium at Hastings and a selection of local vineyards producing award-winning wines to sample, should be on your list to visit.
