At the top of the garden there is a further flight of 7 steps. Located on one of the sunniest coastlines in the UK it offers superb panoramic sea views through the large windows, and has light and spacious living areas with piano and carriage doors to the bedrooms.
Well placed for discovering the area, the property is near Pagham Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for birds and other wildlife.
About 10 miles away, Chichester boasts a beautiful cathedral, Chichester Festival Theatre, a number of leisure facilities, and horse racing at Goodwood and Fontwell. Arundel is also nearby, a town that’s famous for its castles, book and antique shops, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Wildlife Centre Arundel, and Pulborough Brooks RSPB. Besides Pagham, there are various popular beaches in the area, such as at West Wittering, Worthing and Bognor.
The South Downs National Park is renowned for its network of scenic walks, and also just a short drive away is the cosmopolitan city of Brighton to the east, Portsmouth to the west, and ferry trips can be taken to the Isle of Wight. National Trust-owned etstates in the area include Uppark, The Royal Pavilion, Petworth House, Parham Park, Stanstead Park and East Dean are also places of interest.
