It was here that the first known fossil of the dinosaur Iguanodon was discovered and the interesting museum, which is located in Queen’s Hall, can give further information. The Studio (ref UKC1599) and Petit Knowle (ref UKC2003) make an excellent base from which to discover the local gardens including Borde Hill, Nymans, Wakehurst Place and Sheffield Park and Gardens.
