Why visit Whistable?

Whistable has a famous working harbour and unspoilt beach (one of the very few in the UK with a pub on it!) offers an incredible choice of food (much of it locally sourced) and drink available in the quaint restaurants, cafés and pubs located side-by-side with the butcher and baker (however, not too sure about the candlestick-maker!) and a host of delicatessens. The sheer character of the town makes it a winner for the self-catering holidaymaker, fish markets, fruit farms, RSPB Nature Reserve, it's a place close to nature. There are plenty of independent shops in Whistable that are so lacking in our major towns and cities, as well as galleries showing off the best in local and national art. And when you’ve enjoyed what the town has to offer, a promenade walk will allow you the time and space to take in some wonderful, fresh sea air.
