Known as ‘The Heart of The New Forest’, Lyndhurst is a wonderful village with a superb array of amenities. Often referred to as the ‘Capital of the New Forest’ it offers a variety of outdoor pursuits and places of interest with the open forest easily accessible for walking and riding. The village boasts an eclectic range of cafés, restaurants, two supermarkets and traditional butchers. There are two mainline railway stations: Ashurst within 2½ miles and Brockenhurst just shy of 4 miles with direct links to London Waterloo.

Shops, pubs, and restaurants are just a short walk away and there are several beaches about 15 minutes’ drive away. Why not treat yourself to a cream tea or ice cream at one of the many tea rooms or ice cream parlours?
The sailing town of Lymington is about a 10-minute drive, with regular ferries to the Isle of Wight, which makes for a great day out. Try your hand at horse riding, golf, fishing, cycling, bird watching, sailing, and rambling, or simply soak up the beautiful views that the glorious New Forest offers!
