Bathroom: Bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. Enclosed terraced garden with patio area, decking, lawn, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Please note: No children. This property requires a security deposit of £200.
The Old Post Office is the ideal holiday home for a city break or holiday in and around Canterbury. The location is perfect for arriving by car, train or coach, and everything the City has to offer is within a short walk. Its central location makes for easy days out, to several local Blue Flag beaches and Seaside Award towns, by car or public transport. Canterbury is also situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where many walks can beeasily accessed in the Kent Downs Area and along the North Downs Way.
After a day of sightseeing, you can return to this lovely modern cottage which has everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. In the summer you can enjoy the pretty terraced garden. In the winter you can keep warm with the cosy burner.
The two bedrooms and two bathrooms make the cottage perfect for couples. It is also a great cottage for short lets. Canterbury is a City for all Seasons - in the summer it is lovely to stroll through the pretty Westgate Gardens.
Enjoy an alfresco lunch, walk the mediaeval City Walls or go punting on the River Stour which runs through the Old City. In cold weather, head inside and explore the famous Canterbury Cathedral, many museums and art galleries plus the Marlowe Theatre and the large shopping centre.
