Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Rear garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 large car or 2 small cars, additional on-road parking. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the garden.

Welcome to Halcyon, this delightful semi-detached cottage is just a short walk to Freshwater Bay, the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic coastal getaway on the Isle of Wight. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this property has been finished to a high standard in keeping with the traditional cottage feel. Stepping in to the light and spacious hallway where there is space to hang the coats after a walk along the coastline, into the living room is where you first notice the cottage feel with the open fireplace, hidden Freeview TV and relaxing sofas for all guests to enjoy. Into the dining room you where there is seating for all guests and an electric wood burner. French doors lead on the rear garden patio area where you will find garden furniture to enjoy the sun and evening sky.

There is a door from the kitchen which leads on to the rear garden. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms, a single room, family bathroom with rain head shower and a separate toilet. Outside the property is mainly laid to lawn with a patio area.
A visit to the Isle of Wight would not be complete without a trip to see The Needles which is located approximately 10-minute drive from the property. Freshwater Bay itself is perfect for paddling, enjoying the beach and offers some water sports. Golf is available at Freshwater Bay Golf Club which is approx. 1 mile away, offering fantastic views across the bay.

For walkers and cyclists, you can use the local paths, long distance trails and sea path, or even complete the whole island which is just under 70 miles around. The location of the property offers many different activities or just relax. Military Road is one place to visit, the uninterrupted views across the English Channel are something to be seen, don’t forget the camera. Local shops, restaurants and pubs are all in walking distance of Halcyon. Travel via ferry from Lymington, Southampton or Portsmouth, Yarmouth is the nearest ferry car and foot passenger terminal which is 3 miles to the property. The holiday starts as soon as you step foot on the ferry.
