Located on the outskirts of an area of outstanding natural beauty, visitors can often see pheasants, bats, red squirrels, and birdlife from the yurt. The visiting owl can sometimes be heard hooting in the evening, while lots of nesting birds are in the area including swallows in the summer. Famed for its glorious beaches and 57 miles of pristine coastline, the island has plenty to see and do, while the central town of Newport is only 5 minutes by car.

National Trust has various places of interest on the Isle of Wight, including Newtown Nature Reserve, Mottistone Manor, Bembridge Windmill and The Needles to name a few.
