The Lodge is a spacious, extremely well-presented wing of the owner’s home, located on a quiet, prestigious cul-de-sac, just a 25-minute walk to the beach and town centre of Shanklin. An idyllic location for walking and cycling enthusiasts with footpaths and cycle tracks close by. Within walking distance, Shanklin offers everything for the perfect holiday base with its numerous restaurants, cafes and bars, whether along the sea front or in the quaint old village with its thatched cottages and local gift shops.
This popular seaside town is also ideally located next to Sandown with its amusements, crazy golf, zoo and pier and from the town centre you can catch an open top bus exploring all that the island has to offer. There are many historical houses, beautiful gardens and scenic walks along the Heritage coastline and The Lodge is perfectly situated to explore and discover what is on offer. Other attractions on the island include Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, the Ventnor Botanical Gardens, a donkey sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill which is a 17th-century working watermill.
