The Meadow Flat is a well-presented one bedroom, first floor apartment with an allocated parking space, located on a quiet road less than a mile walk to the beach and the town centre of Shanklin. This is an idyllic location for walking and cycling enthusiasts with footpaths and cycle tracks close by. Shanklin offers everything for the perfect holiday base with its array of restaurants, cafés and bars, whether along the seafront or in the quaint old village with its thatched cottages, local gift shops and various tea shops and inns.
This popular seaside town is also ideally located next to Sandown with its amusements, crazy golf, zoo and pier.
Outdoor pursuits on the island are numerous and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf. There are many attractions to discover for all ages including The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay.
Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, or Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK. Ventnor Botanical Gardens are just next door to the property and Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes are all worth a visit.
