Pollard Cottage stands within a pretty square in a conservation area at the forefront of a historic 15th-century church, part of which dates back to Saxon times. This beautifully presented listed Tudor home has been sympathetically modernised whilst retaining its original character and features including beams, inglenook fire surround with wood burner, part wattle and daub walls and a beamed vaulted high ceiling in the kitchen/dining room. The semi-detached property boasts some clever adaptations such as church pews being used as panels to decorate the walls of the landing/reading area. With Elizabethan additions, this lovely period property was originally built as a replica of what is now the village library.
Conveniently located, Pollard Cottage is almost opposite a popular pub/restaurant and just 5 minutes’ walk from the town with a selection of shops and eateries.
