Set in the peaceful village of Wingfield, this early-19th-century bath-stone cottage provides a charming countryside base ideal for couples, friends or small families. With two inviting bedrooms accommodating four adults and one infant, it offers easy access to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Longleat Safari Park.
Originally two workers’ cottages, the property has been thoughtfully combined into one welcoming home that blends historic character with modern comforts. The spacious kitchen-dining room is fully equipped for cooking and longer stays, and a stable door opens onto the tranquil back garden. The sitting room features comfortable seating, a TV/DVD player and a wood-burning stove, with logs provided for your first fire.

A travel cot and highchair are also available on request.
Upstairs, you’ll find both bedrooms — one king and one double — along with a bright bathroom that includes both a bath and a separate shower. A small snug offers a cosy spot for reading or unwinding.
Outside, pretty cottage gardens at the front and back are furnished for al fresco dining and include a barbecue, fire pit and wooden recliners. There is parking for two cars at the rear of the property.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
