The area is closely tied with the Neville family who arrived in England with William the Conqueror and settled at Eridge Park. One of their guests, Dudley Lord North, discovered the iron rich Chalybeate Spring and Tunbridge Wells was born. You too can meet the ’Dipper’, taste the waters and promenade along The Pantiles.
