Crown Cottages is in the delightful village of Horsted Keynes in the very heart of a popular village, with a pretty outlook over the village green to the front and towards the recreation area to the rear. Horsted Keynes is a delightful West Sussex village in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is popular for its picturesque village green, many interesting historic buildings and the property is sandwiched between two local pubs.
The property is set back from the road in the village on the edge of the green, very picturesque, extremely spacious inside and an ideal base to explore everything that Sussex has to offer. You have your own dedicated private parking space for one vehicle but there is plenty of room to park other vehicles should you need the extra space.

In the evening enjoy some relaxing time in front of the cosy wood burner in the living/dining room and appreciate the well-equipped and generous size modern kitchen with its granite surfaces. Upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms with kingsize beds and one bedroom with one single bed and a pull-out bed.
The village has its own cricket club which hosts matches at the weekend and it’s a very pleasant and relaxing way to spend your day locally or if you are looking for something a little more energetic then you always have the tennis club, the recreational ground and for the children there is a playground just 5 minutes away. For a little village there is plenty to do on your doorstep and with the town of Haywards Heath just down the road, you will find the major supermarkets and a plethora of eateries.

The Bluebell Steam Railway, offering two hour trips up and down the 11-mile line through scenic Sussex countryside, lovely for children. Also, the Golden Arrow Pullman train offers weekend lunch and dinners which need to be booked in advance and these are held from Spring to Autumn and Christmas. There is a vibrant cultural and arts scene in Sussex, with world-class opera at Glyndebourne theatre at Royal Tunbridge Wells and the annual Brighton Festival presenting a huge programme of theatre, dance, classical music and literary events, all of which are extremely local and just a short journey in the car.
