It is within easy reach of some of the loveliest beaches of the north Devon and Cornwall coastlines, as well as the wild beauty of Dartmoor and with countless family attractions in between.
Toad Hall (ref UKC595) is detached and sleeps up to 14 in 7 bedrooms, whilst the cottages each have 4 double or twin bedrooms. Each is individually furnished and has its own character. Otter’s Den (ref UKC597) offers open-plan living, Badger’s House (ref UKC596) provides spacious rooms upstairs and down, Mole End (ref UKC598) is cosy while offering a large, well-equipped kitchen/dining room for up to 8 people. Each has its own garden with barbecue and sand pit as well as ample parking.

Perfect for families, with baby and toddler equipment available for all properties, Libbear Barton has grounds with a large heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room, soft play area, adventure playground, a well-equipped gym, DVD library, woodland, badgers’ hide and meadows. There are barbecues placed throughout the grounds for guests to enjoy.
You’ll find yourself stepping right into the pages of ‘The Wind in the Willows’. The farmhouse and cottages are surrounded by fields, walks, a 5 acre wood and a lake. There are ducks and geese, swallows, house martins, and you will no doubt find hedgehogs and moles. At sunset you are likely to catch a glimpse of the graceful red deer in the woods. Libbear Barton is also ideal if you’re thinking of a large celebration for a special birthday or anniversary, with hire available of The Stables, an attractive beamed events room where groups can meet and eat and celebrate together, and guests can stay in one place with no need to worry about driving.


If you can bear to drag yourself away from this stunning location, the breathtaking north Devon and north Cornish coast is within 25 minutes’ drive, and boasts fantastic sandy beaches, excellent surfing and many hidden coves to explore. Golf, watersports and riding are all available locally, whilst the nearby Tarka Trail leads walkers and cyclists through superb scenery and for family fun The Big Sheep, The Milky Way adventure parks are close by. Beach 14 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
