This 150-year-old stone cottage is set in the heart of the magnificent Lynher Valley, within The Tamar Moorland Fringe, between the Tamar Valley (AONB), Bodmin Moor (AONB) and Dartmoor (AONB).

Living room: With 42" HD TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, DVD player available on request, DAB radio and Playstation.
Dining room: With slate floor.
Kitchen: With electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, DAB radio and door leading to veranda.
Utility room: With freezer.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

This beautiful area of Cornwall really is a hidden gem and upon arrival you will be immediately wowed by the spectacular, uninterrupted countryside and high moorland panoramas that surround the cottage’s glorious south facing gardens, who’s colourful flowerbeds and extensive, level lawns attract an abundance of wildlife. With no near neighbours, the silence is broken only by birdsong, providing the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and relaxation away from the hubbub.
Inside, the cottage’s bright, well-equipped kitchen invites you to relax on the veranda’s swing seat. The dining room and hallway have Cornish Delabole slate floors, and the sitting room’s large leather sofas welcome you. Upstairs offers two sumptuous king-size bedded rooms which both have 400 thread count designer bedding, plump goose down duvets (hypoallergenic available on request), a selection of pillows and fluffy, white, 100% Egyptian cotton towels, all of which combine to make this the perfect hideaway.


Exclusively designed for just two guests, the two kingsized bedded rooms are ideal for couples, couples who cannot sleep in the same bed, but whom both deserve the luxury of a kingsized bed, two friends travelling together, or an adult and a 16+ years old child.
The breath-taking moorland views of Caradon Hill, Sharptor, Notter Tor on Bodmin Moor and Kit Hill, tempt you to explore, both directly from the property and via the vast array of nearby walking, cycling and horse-riding opportunities, so that you may immerse yourself further in the picturesque serenity. Neighbouring villages include Pensilva, with moorland horse riding for all abilities, Minions with the ancient Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring rocks, all offering astonishing views of Cornwall to the coast.

Local National Trust properties include Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge. Gunnislake forms the start of the scenic Tamar Valley (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) Railway Line. Canoe and cycle hire is available at Calstock, standing opposite historic Morewellham Quay on the lush banks of the beautiful River Tamar. There is an open-air Sterts Theatre and Siblyback Lake offers water sports, windsurfing, fishing, kayaking, walking and off-road cycle route. St Mellion International Resort offers golf and spa.
