The elevated position of the apartment provides the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy stunning views of the English Riviera’s coastline and out to sea, as well as Torquay Marina and Torre Abbey sands and meadows.
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and is well equipped with quality kitchenware and appliances. The open plan living, kitchen and dining area offers a light and airy space in which to relax, while the private balcony provides a high-quality table and chairs, enabling you to enjoy drinks and meals while watching the boats and yachts in the bay and, later on, the sunset over the hills to the west.
When the evenings draw in, the lounge is the perfect place to read or enjoy the 46 inch TV, Sky Cinema channels through the Now TV box and Blu-ray/DVD player.
Both the master and second bedroom have 32 inch TVs. A huge selection of Blue-ray/DVDs, books, games and jigsaws for children and adults is provided.
Masts is just a short walk to the town centre and seafront where you will find an array of shops, restaurants and independent cafés serving excellent coffee and fresh local fare. Many family friendly attractions are close by, including Living Coasts, Torquay’s own marine zoo, Kent’s Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones and Torquay Museum. View the coast from a different perspective by enjoying a scenic ferry crossing to the neighbouring towns of Paignton and Brixham or taking a fishing trip.
Or, for those who like to keep their feet on firm ground, there is access directly from Masts’ garden to the Rock Walk and Royal Terrace Gardens leading to the seafront and pier, while Cockington Country Park offers a tranquil retreat with acres of parkland and a craft centre and the South West Coastal Path with its fantastic scenery is just 10 minutes’ walk away from the apartment.
When the sun sets over the English Riviera, choose from an eclectic mix of restaurants showcasing the finest in West Country dining. Many offer wonderful sea views and provide the perfect setting to end your day. If you are still looking for some evening entertainment then Torquay is proudly home to three theatres offering a variety of local and touring productions throughout the year
