Situated in the heart of the English Riviera, with its beautiful coastline, sandy beaches and a wealth of nature reserves, this first floor apartment is located just a couple of minutes’ walk from Babbacombe Downs and the shingle beach, where there are spectacular sea views reaching for miles out towards Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton.
Squirrel’s Nest features a stylish open plan kitchen and living space with lovely views of Cary Park, two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, you will not be short of home comforts during your stay. Elegantly furnished in calming whites, blues and greys, the open plan living space is perfect to relax and unwind. Grab the popcorn and spend your evening in the well-furnished living area, which has a large corner sofa and large wall-mounted 49" Smart TV with Netflix and DVD player.
The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday. There is also a dining table with four chairs. There are two beautifully furnished bedrooms; one with a kingsize bed, the other with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room too. There is allocated parking for one car and additional on road parking available.
There is plenty to keep you entertained in the resort of Torquay, including a wide range of restaurants and nearby local attractions including Paignton Zoo, Quay West, Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern and Dartmouth Railway. The Cliff Railway is just a few minutes’ walk away from the apartment and takes you straight to the tranquil Oddicombe shingle beach, one of the most scenic beaches in the county.
During the summer, you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, boating or promenading on the beach. Join the South West Coastal Path on foot or bicycle and head towards Torquay, taking in Thatchers Rock Green park and garden, Thatchers Point lookout, Meadfoot Beach and Beacon Cove. Dartmoor is a short drive away with its famous ponies, heather-clad tors and dramatic landscapes. Explore lovely villages with tea rooms where you can enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea, or take a boat from the harbour over to Brixham for another great day out. There are many National Trust properties to visit, or Paignton is close by and has an award-winning zoo. There is a model village and a small theatre both within walking distance.
