Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, Range, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and patio doors leading to garden and vaulted ceiling.
Bedroom 1: With twin beds, beamed ceiling and doors leading to garden.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.

First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed and beamed ceiling.
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Welcome pack.

Enclosed front garden with sitting-out area, terrace and garden furniture. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden. Small dogs only.

Your perfect country cottage, beautifully presented and well equipped, sits in a prominent position in the pretty village of Carperby in Wensleydale.
A beautiful lawned garden leads up to this picture postcard cottage; stone built and finished to a high standard throughout, inside the cottage, the living room is cosy and tastefully furnished. The comfortable sofa, chair and country style décor, traditional beamed ceiling and a cosy wood burning stove give a welcoming feel. The superb kitchen is light and bright with large patio doors and vaulted ceilings with velux windows making this a beautiful space to sit either for breakfast or enjoying supper together. A tranquilplace with a selection of areas to sit, relax and enjoy the sounds of the countryside.

Off to bed and there is the added convenience of a downstairs twin bedroom with beamed ceilings and a door leading straight into the garden, giving level access if needed. There is a downstairs bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs the bedroom has lovely garden views, with a kingsize bed and beamed ceilings, there is a second bathroom on this floor with shower cubicle.
Alpine Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales with numerous marked footpaths from the doorstep and beauty spots such as Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle within walking distance. Nearby are the market towns of Hawes with the Wensleydale Creamery, Hardraw Falls and Leyburn with their many shops, pubs, restaurants, and craft workshops where craftsmen display their skills and sell hand made products.

From Middleham square you can sit and watch the impressive sight as the racehorses pass through on their way to the gallops. The Forbidden Corner is just down the road with its labyrinth of tunnels and underground caves to explore.
There is so much to do and see you will certainly want to come back after a day exploring, you can either have a cosy night in warming your toes by the wood burner or head out for some good food and a drink at the village pub, just a short stroll away.
