Alongthe coastline you have the towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s Bay.
For anyone interested in history you have the stately home of Castle Howard, Helmsley Castle and Walled Gardens, or even Eden Camp, which was a prisoner of war camp that has since been transformed into a museum. Children will be delighted with a day out at Flamingo Land theme park and zoo.
