Hinderwell is just a 5-minute walk from the cottage, and local amenities include several excellent several pubs, a good butchers, local shops and a café.

Staithes is just a mile down the road and is worth exploring. With great access to Sandsend and the seaside town of Whitby, you can enjoy the picturesque coastline on your visit, or choose to explore the historic Whitby Abbey.
