Located on the edge of the very popular village of Oulton Broad, you are within easy walking distance of riverside pubs, restaurants and shops. The Norfolk Broads National Park is particularly popular in the summer and boat hire is available along with river trips, speed boat racing and a beautiful park from which to stop and watch the world float by. The seaside resort of Lowestoft has a lovely award winning sandy beach boasting two piers with an abundance of family entertainment.

The town centre has a good selection of shops and a small shopping centre. If you fancy exploring the local area, Lowestoft is perfectly placed for Norfolk and Suffolk. To the south is Southwold, ever popular for its pier, the brightly coloured beach huts and of course fish and chips is just 25 minutes away. Other places to visit that are within easy reach are Aldeburgh, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Suffolk Heritage Coastline.
Those who enjoy a bit of ’retail therapy’ should head to Norwich city just 50 minutes drive away, or 30 minutes on the train from nearby Oulton North Station, where you will find two indoor shopping malls, market square, cathedral, castle museum, plenty of cafés and restaurants.
