Stable Cottage is the former coach house and stables of the Dower House to Belford Hall, on the outskirts of the pretty village of Belford. The cottage is ideally suited for one or two couples, or for a relaxing family self-catering holiday. The cottage enjoys lovely open views across fields to the sea and offers all modern facilities, yet retains its character and is tastefully furnished. Shops, farm shop and pubs all within a very short walk.
The pretty village of Bamburgh with its dramatic castle and wide golden sandy beach is only 5 miles away. The historic market towns of Alnwick to the south and Berwick-Upon-Tweed to the north are both approx. 15 miles away and offer a wide range of facilities.
Other hidden gems of Northumberland to be explored include The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, St Cuthberts Cave and Ros Castle, the Cheviot Hills, Northumberland National Park and Heritage Coast and are all within easy driving distance.
