Situated just behind the hall, which has an impressive history and is often enjoyed by wedding guests. Set in over 8 acres of landscaped grounds and woodland, this charming two bedroom cottage is ideal at any time of the year. Children with you will enjoy a play in the rustic treehouse set in the grounds, whilst spotting local wildlife in the peaceful surrounding woodland.
Ellingham has a friendly village pub, which you can stroll to from Cloister Cottage easily.
The location is just perfect for exploring this stunning part of Northumberland and beyond, with miles of golden sandy beaches peppered with castles and friendly villages, each offering something different.
Seahouses has a bustling harbour with boat trips to the Farne Islands, and Craster is famous for its smoked kippers and glorious walk along the cliff top to Dunstanburgh Castle. Nearby Bamburgh has the most magnificent castle. The estate is only a couple of miles from the A1, ensuring all the top tourist attractions in Northumberland can be easily reached
