Beamish Museum, a world-class open-air attraction bringing local history to life, is within 15 minutes’ reach and a must-visit for all ages.
Nature lovers can enjoy scenic walks and cycling trails through the surrounding countryside or head to Derwent Reservoir for waterside strolls, birdwatching, and picnics.
