Northumberland was voted the best county to holiday by the British Tourism Awards, and once you are here it is easy to see why.

Amble is ideally located to explore this diverse county with Warkworth Castle and village a gentle 2-mile walk along the estuary. The castle dominates the village here, and you will find pubs and cafés serving good food and drinks.
The Heritage coastline area, and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stretches along the beautiful coastline to Berwick-upon-Tweed with miles of beaches and historic castles, make sure you visit Holy Island home to the Lindisfarne Gospels but make sure you check the tide tables to access the causeway.
