Robin’s Nest is only 3 miles from the friendly seaside town of Amble offering a comfortable base for couples or a small family. With a side garden area with seating, this well planned, first floor apartment is ideal as a central base to explore the whole of this unspoilt county.
The shops and tea rooms in Amble, along with the little fish restaurants near the harbour, ensure you don’t have to go far for some Northumbrian hospitality. The highly acclaimed ice cream parlour in Amble is approximately 2 miles away. Amble has a thriving, popular Sunday morningmarket and Amble Harbour Village with fifteen retail pods, both popular with locals and visitors.

From the harbour you can take a Puffin Boat trip over to Coquet Island to see the RSPB bird sanctuary. The pretty village of Warkworth is just 3 miles away with its hillside castle, free parking, selection of cafés and pubs, and a couple of small bespoke shops.
A few miles further takes you to Alnwick with the Duke’s castle, featured in Downton Abbey and used as part of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. The Duchess’ water gardens with spectacular grand cascade and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant should not be missed.

Amble is set on the edge of the Heritage Coastline, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of golden, sandy beaches, unspoilt coastline and plenty of cycle routes and footpaths. The property is ideally located for exploring the whole of this friendly county with everything you need already on your doorstep.
