Carefully converted and refurbished throughout, it makes a lovely home from which to explore the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will be spoilt for choice with easy access to both Lancashire with it’s rich history and the Yorkshire Dales with all it’s rugged beauty. Nearby Barrowford plays host to a selection of independent shops cafés and bars all offering something a bit different, or try Boundary Mill for a bargain and a wonderful afternoon tea. The area is renowned for having a wide selection of places to eat both a la carte and good pub grub, in Fence you are truly spoilt with a Michelin star restaurant at just 400 yards away, also serving Timothy Taylor’s it doesn’t get much better!
