This pretty terraced cottage built from locally sourced stone is one of just six properties on a working beef and sheep farm. This quiet part of the farm is dedicated to a handful of holiday cottages all in landscaped grounds and just perfect for a peaceful and memorable stay. Inside the cottage you’ll find everything you need including a well equipped kitchen with views to the rear garden and sheep in the fields beyond. On the ground floor you’ll also find an open plan living/dining room which makes a great social space for a family get together. Derwent Dale Cottage comfortably sleeps six guests in two double bedrooms and a twin room, each with plenty of storage for your belongings, making it ideal for larger families and couples. From the ground floor you can access the garden which has been newly renovated for 2018 and now features decking with patio furniture, artificial grass for a bit of year round colour, and the best bit, a relaxing hot tub so you can sooth those aches and pains after a long day of adventure.
If you like the outdoors, you have direct access to Blencathra which can offer anything from a leisurely stroll to a quite challenging climb. Other Lakeland Fells in the area include Helvellyn, Skiddaw, Catbells and Latrigg, so pack your walking boots!

You can reach Keswick in just 5 miles which boasts a number of fantastic restaurants, bars, pubs, shops, a very popular local market and a number of attractions.
