White Cross Bay is ideally positioned between Windermere and Ambleside, just over half a mile from the popular Brockhole Visitor Centre, which offers a wide range of family-friendly activities including Treetop Nets, Treetop Trek, an adventure playground, boat hire, mini golf, and art experiences.
Inside, the lodge is finished to a high standard, combining comfort and functionality.

The master bedroom features a double bed, fitted wardrobe, en-suite shower room, and a wall-mounted TV. The second bedroom includes twin beds, a fitted wardrobe, and its own TV. A modern family shower room is located off the hallway. The bright and welcoming open-plan living and dining area is ideal for relaxing, with Freeview TV and access to TNT Sports 1 and Sky Sports Main Event. Large patio doors open out onto a spacious private deck that enjoys sunlight throughout the day and is furnished with a dining table and chairs. A stand is also provided for disposable BBQs, and private parking is available right outside the lodge.

Just a short two-minute stroll from the lodge brings you to the peaceful shores of Lake Windermere. While swimming is not permitted due to marina safety rules, paddle boards and kayaks can be launched for early morning paddles or evening glides. Guests may purchase Entertainment Passes at reception to access the park’s leisure facilities, which include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, children’s playground, and seasonal activity programmes. There’s also a family-friendly bar and restaurant on site, along with a small shop for everyday essentials
