Nestled down a long unmade track, winding through picturesque tall trees and wild countryside, you will find Keeper’s Cottage. Set amongst the owner’s picturesque 130-acre rural estate, shared with farm animals, free roaming birds and wildlife, Keeper’s Cottage offers not only a place to stay but an experience and location you will be certain not to forget. Wander the 130 acres, with woodland, a lake and wildlife to explore and see.
Swathed in wisteria and magnolia, the quaint stone façade of this cottage hides a quirky interior, very much taking you back to the 1970s. The unique retro and kitsch style with vintage shag pile carpets, retro patterned tiles and pieces thoughtfully collected from different corners of the earth - even Elvis makes an appearance! Offering plenty of space for four, the cosy living area makes the ideal place to curl up in front of the log fire, whilst the dining room is the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty meal, with exposed brickwork and high beam ceilings adding to the character.
If you can draw yourself away from the peace of this secluded spot, you will find that Crowborough is one of East Sussex’s hidden gems; a small town with shops and countryside pubs to sample, whilst historic Tunbridge Wells is within a 15-minute drive. Cars must have very good ground clearance, as the cottage is located down a long rough track. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 1¼ miles
