With coastal habitats galore ranging from wide sandy beaches and grassy dunes to salt and clay marshes and picturesque quays, beach lovers will be spoilt for choice. Check out nearby Mundesley which locals consider to be one of the best beaches around as it is a little quieter than its near neighbour, Cromer. But don’t miss outon a trip to that town too because here you will find the famous pier, the Edwardian promenade and lots of great seaside attractions including amusements, a cinema and a zoo.

The gateway to the glorious Norfolk Broads is just a half an hour drive away too and you can be in the fine city of Norwich in around 40 minutes. Add in the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, North Norfolk and Bure Valley Railways, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, RSPB Cley Marshes and Sheringham Park, The Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, the latter with its Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey and BeWilderwood and you will soon see why this part of Norfolk is so very popular.
